In the summer of 2007 several medical and dental clinics decided to take time out of their lives and businesses and travel to Peru to several orphanages and villages where medical attention was greatly needed. They touched the lives of children and adults who have no or very limited access to doctors. One child had trouble speaking and eating and within minutes was diagnosed. His frenulum under his tongue was so tight that it greatly restricted movement and was making normal function difficult. With minor surgery the problem was easily fixed. To these people, medical help like this is a miracle. Talented doctors and staff like these individuals help others and give back to their communities and neighbors throughout the world. It is wonderful to see positive role models in our communities that share their time, talents and services. Dr Tanya Manyak and her husband both contributed to this successful medical mission in Peru. Their office strives to help patients get the best care and Dr. Manyak has been was voted the Best Dentist on the Peninsula in the InsideBayArea.com polls. They come highly recommended and are located at:

San Mateo Dental, Tanya Manyak DDS
